Hello all! I have just added all of Jayma’s public appearances from August – she looks beautiful at every one, in particular at the Teen Choice Awards and Emmy Awards! Glee will be back in less than a month, I absolutely cannot wait for Emma’s storyline! Yesterday, Jayma as the rest of the Glee cast were in Hollywood for the Glee Academy Event! Jayma looked lovely as usual, and 22 images have been added to the gallery so far – enjoy!

In the past week, the lovely Ms. Jayma Mays has made not one, but two public events! On July 13 she was in Beverly Hills for the Burberry Beauty Garden Tea Event, and on July 19 she was in Hollywood for the 2010 Vh1 Do Something! Hi all! Sorry for the lack of updates around here, I’ve been super busy in real life with work and a week’s holiday in the past few weeks. To make up for it, I’ve just added the remaining Jayma pics I’ve had on my laptop, including a new event from 2009, two magazine scans and a gorgeous new photoshoot (thanks to Haylie!). Enjoy!

Ask Jayma Mays about John Stamos playing Emma’s dentist/love interest in Glee‘s upcoming second season and she turns as giddy as we were when we first heard the news. We caught up with Mays yesterday to chat about Stamos, the Smurfs movie she just wrapped last week opposite Neil Patrick Harris, and Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a charity for which she’s helping to raise awareness and funds. (So Emma, right?)

Let’s talk about John Stamos, because that would excite me to no end.
[Sings "Ah" as though heaven's gates have just opened] Ohmygosh, I was so excited when I found out. I feel like I’m actually the last person to know these things. [Laughs] I found out via a text. Someone was like, “Uncle Jesse?” And I was like, “Sorry, I don’t know what that means.” I was actually working on Smurfs at the time, so I got really excited because I’m like, I am living my 10-year-old fantasy. I was kissing Doogie Howser one minute, and then I found out that I’m going to kiss Uncle Jesse the next. I just need Punky Brewster to be my best friend now, and my childhood fantasy will be complete. I’m really, really, really excited. I think he’s amazing. What a wonderful addition to the cast.

Have you talked with him at all?
We’ve never met before.

How do you anticipate bonding with him?
I definitely won’t bring up the whole Uncle Jesse thing. I probably shouldn’t have even said that now.

Neil Patrick Harris introduces the new teaser trailer for the 3-D live action film, The Smurfs.

The 37-year-old actor and actress Jayma Mays play a young couple who find the Smurfs lost in New York City and decide to help them get back home.

The film boasts a star-studded cast including Katy Perry (as Smurfette), Star Trek’s Anton Yelchin (as Clumsy Smurf), The Office’s B.J. Novak (as Baker Smurf), X-Men’s Alan Cumming (as Gutsy Smurf), George Lopez (as Grouchy Smurf), Jonathan Winters (as Papa Smurf) and Hank Azaria (as Gargamel).

The new movie is set to be released August 3rd, 2011.

Last night’s Glee episode has been getting mostly rave reviews with the season sadly coming to a close. The finale featured tears, disappointment, the birth of a new baby, but also love as well.

One of the great scenes of the night was when Matthew Morrison’s character, Will kissed Emma (Jayma Mays), in a moment that we just can’t get enough of. To make it even better, apparently the kiss wasn’t scripted. E! Online reports that they spoke with Brad Falchuk, director of last night’s episode and he said, “I didn’t tell Jayma it was coming. We shot all of Matt’s coverage first, and a master, and then when we got to her coverage, I pulled him aside and told him to kiss her. Her reaction is totally real.”

Brilliant directing. If only they released a behind-the-scenes episode sharing all their secrets with us.
